Just like every one else, we want to check the course map Here is a little part of that Air Force precision at work. The course map was large and full of detail.

No Kathy, there's no quiz tomorrow.... but like all marathons, there will be a test.
A little help from Lt. Col. Sawyer I wasn't the only one who noticed that Kathy was glued to the map. After a few minutes, Lieutenant Colonel Sawyer introduced himself and volunteered many race insights and tips.
Unique marathon prizes The awards were artistic in form, and beautifully crafted. Notice the back row? Those are for First, Second and Third Place finishers in each age division. Kathy earned the one in the middle for 1998 women, ages 20-24.
