Plantations Near New Orleans

These photos were taken in the late morning and early afternoon of November 4, 2001, on the historic Destrehan and Houmas plantations along the Mississippi river between New Orleans and Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Does the sitting room in the second row look just a little familiar? It is one of two rooms at Destrehan that were used in the movie "Interview with a Vampire."

I have included links to the original image file for a few of these images. If you want to read the camera information, the EXIF headers are still there. All were shot at ISO 80 and saved inside the camera as 8:1 JPEG files.
