Macro lighting with the
FL-40
Each of these examples were taken with the FL-40 macro lighting
reflector set-up. Some of them use the MCON35 macro lens too.
To start, I literally opened the china cabinet door and just took
a few shots of my wife's collectable. Because they were sitting glass shelves,
the light from the lower part of the reflector was able to come up through the
glass and balance out the illumination on the subject.
The china cabinet and white box shots were taken at 1/125 of a
second at f6.3 In shots 866800 and 868800 I tilted the FL-40 to spill light at
an angle on the background.
The outdoor flower shots were taken in aperture preferred mode at
5.6 or 6.3.
